KINDNESS FOR KIDS INC.. is a non-profit organization devoted to supporting children with chronic illnesses and disabilities as well as their families,in the state of Alaska. Living with a chronic illness, or disability is challenging. KINDNESS FOR KIDS Inc. goal is to provide help and hope to these children and their families who are facing these difficulties. Part of the mission of KINDNESS FOR KIDS is to identify and provide access to educational, emotional and recreational resources and activities for children with chronic illnesses or disabilities and their families.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE We provide grants to families of children with chronic illnesses, or disabilities. These grants assist in alleviating the financial burden placed on families as a result of treating and caring for a child with a chronic illness or disability. Financial stresses of families living with a disability include medical bills, purchasing medications, extensive treatment plans, necessary medical equipment for home use, other supplies, as well as missing work to manage the care of a child, and some may not have adequate medical coverage.
